This book 7 is generally well-written and edited (though it should be eyeing and not eying). I do like the main character and his neighbors, as well as Shane and Sonny, but the overall feel of the book seemed to lag a bit. It does not seem realistic that these ordinary people can go this long and with this intensity without needing some rest and sleep. Professional soldiers would be exhausted by all of this. I am curious to see who is the sus operator of the drone and what agenda is at stake.

A Great Read I read apocalyptic books all the time. I’m a Prepper in Alaska. I live on a small island off of Kodiak Island and we have real potential for apocalyptic events. Tsunami, war because we are so isolated which could mean EMP, bombs or invasion like WWII. The island was hit by a tsunami in 1964. We get all of our groceries from Kodiak and if things go bad we would be the last to be able to shop. At one time a volcano erupted on the mainland and the island got covered in ash. We generate our own electricity with hydro and diesel generators that could run out of fuel or simply quit. Our phones are sketchy. Yada, yada, yada. I read these types of books not only for entertainment but help in preparing for things I haven’t thought of. This series has been so different from other books in its approach that I have learned a great deal. I also like the fact that it is one place and not two people or groups of people trying to cross the country to find each other. It’s easier to follow and allows the characters, all of them, to interact. I highly recommend this series and look forward to reading more of it.

This saga just gets better and better! This series about Frank helping his neighborhood survive after an EMP followed by a hurricane is so engrossing! He's the one-in-a-million who read post-apoc survival books before needing to, and now he's just the right mix of take-charge leader-helper with logic, compassion, some humility, and humor. And a healthy conscience! It's a wild ride with Frank and Clownfish Cove residents, and everyone else, as they tackle new daily challenges in the devastation. The injuries and death due to nature, fighting, or human stupidity are not glossed over, but they're not glorified either. If I were in post-apoc Florida, I would definitely want to be in Frank's neighborhood. I hope the story goes on for years! I don't often write reviews, but this is one of my favorite series in this genre.

E.E. I Sherwood will keep you entertained with book 7 Frank trying to keep the neighborhoods around where he and neighbors live as the world is imploding safe for everyone. Teens trying to make it to safety from the high school to the neighborhood. To the North and South gangs are looting, killing and burning neighborhoods and it has only been about a week! What will happen next?

Excellent apocalyptic/dystopian series! Neighborhood Watch is one of my favorite series! I love the characters and the action. The tension and drama kept me turning pages and quickly as possible. The action is, for the most, very realistic and circumstances are possible to actually happen. highly recommend it. Read via Kindle Unlimited

Gimmee More! Really love Isherwood’s style of writing. His relationship and world building skills are superior to most books. I get the feeling that the weaving of the tight story is what he loves the most about writing. I highly recommend this series to all you apocalypse junkies.

Can’t wait for book 8 I’ve really enjoyed this series but wish it had been edited better. In book 2 mr puppets is a German shepherd by book 4 he’s a golden retriever. Daisy is 4 when we meet her, but in book 5 frank says she’s 2. Brendans name goes back and forth from Brendan to Brandon... otherwise the books are great!

On the Edge of My Seat I couldn't put this down and read through the night. As I read this, I felt like I was there. I'm running and dodging the bad guys. I am trying to be quiet and get the refugees to safety. Frank and Carmen are my heroes. If the EMP happened, I definitely would want to live on Clownfish Cove with them.

I'm on to about book 8 of this series and the one thing that I notice. its real heavy on describing weapons and vehicles but not a whole lot about where the foods coming from, how it is served, how the supplies are being doled out in general. And how they're gonna plan ahead for hunting, fishing and next years crops..Just saying.

Neighborhood watch 7 Another great read!
It would however be nice if we could see the streets and canals and such, it's very hard to visualize some times. And with it only being day 9 !
Hurry up Frank and get that container ship succoured, or you are going to loose it.
And you sure need all the food , with all the extra mouths to feed.

Better and Better This series continues to ramp up the action and suspense. As the world deteriorates Frank and the folks from Clownfish struggle to hold onto the last vestiges of civil society and cope with the ever increasing barbarism surrounding their neighborhood. The books in this series get better and better!

Good books. Good books but the characters should have some downtime to make it more believable. They seem to be able to soldier on from one conflict to the next with little to no rest.

Neighborhood watch 7 Interesting takeoff from the EMP series of tales in that it's taking place in a greatly shortened period of time and seems to get deeper and deeper into the chaos that would occur in a smaller sense of time one might expect. Interesting reading.

Book 7 Nice to get caught up again. Keep them coming. Time for them to go looking for some outdoor metal tubs to heat up so they can bathe. Great reading.

OK read but a little slow This book was not up to the standards of the first 6 in this series. There was no significant event in this book. Hopefully book 8 will n be better.

Good Read Fun series. It is an easy read that is not too complicated with a lot of tech. Characters are good. I also like that it follows the characters almost literally day to day.

Hard to stop reading it. Lots of action and nail biting situations. It’s hard to imagine the situation they are in only on day 8.
