Neighborhood Watch 10 - a review by Rosemary Kenny. It's hard to believe, but the incredible E.E. Isherwood's brilliant Neighbourhood Watch series has come to an end with #10. Frank the intrepid overseer of the eponymous watch, along with his lady love Carmen have been in the forefront of the action, sacrificing their personal time to serve and protect their neighbours in the wider area, teaching others how organise defences for themselves and each other.
The non-stop action, battles, alliances, love, loss, death and the full gamut of emotions experienced during them all, has taken just 14 days since the EMP up to the grande denouement, with everything you could possibly imagine in between.
Battling together against the odds on all sides, tests everyone to their utmost - from treacherous raiders to violent outsiders and more, who're determined to seize control or destroy whatever's denied them by the residents of Clownfish Cove and its surrounds.
Gritty, realistic and thankfully not the last we'll hear from Frank etc al, as EE Isherwood has teased a linked series, to whet our appetites for more of this amazing social commentary and absolutely unputdownable adventure.
Grab your copy of Neighborhood Watch 10 today, then, (if you haven't already done so) get Books 1-9 to read first, to get the full reading experience you won't forget in a long time!

Some of the prior books in this series had started to feel a bit repetitive or like marking time, but this one really stepped up the game. It had a lot of action that brought this story to a satisfying close. We found out a lot more about the role of other Americans in the catastrophe that occurred and whilst it would be nice to see more conclusion to that facet, it would not be in the purview of the Clownfish residents. Most of this has been about a group of people who worked together to survive and the few who reluctantly took the mantle of leadership. I always liked Frank and this book made me smile when he briefly used the code name "Ish." I also have to give a nod to the term "clerical killer" when applied to someone who allowed their paperwork to be used by a thug to harm the subjects of the paper work. I need to remember that term. All-in-all, this ended on a note where most of the bad guys we knew got what was coming to them and made this a series worth reading to the end.

December 23, 2023Just a fantastic read! As always Frank and Clownfish will take up space in my head for quite a while.
If our county has an EMP or an attempt to overthrow our government would we step up to protect our home and neighbors?
Anyway this last book has ended this series with a bang. Some bad, evil things as well as joy. Frank went swinging into the fray as usual and used intellect, common Sense and his literary endeavors and made us proud. Great emp series.

This entire work was well thought out and very well written! The characters were believable and all to human. Each book progressed forward in logical manner. The nonstop action kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Making you think what would you do if you were in a similar situation. Mr. Isherwood did it again! He has never disappointed in the past and he has certainly not done so now. I am a fan of this type of work and I think this is one of the best of it's kind.

Best series ever! I have enjoyed everything EE Isherwood has written so far, but this series is probably my favorite by any author. The characters are so well written I feel like I know them personally.

A good ending or is it a beginning? A bit far fetched sometimes but a good adventurous read! The whole series is worth a few days of your time to read. I think there’s more of this story to be told however…
Never a dull moment . Continuing to see what the apocalypse is bringing on next with Frank and Carmen. Great ending to a great set vid books that kept me wanting to read til the very last book.

The End Great series, and great ending to the series. At least I think it's the ending, even though things aren't really resolved.
I've enjoyed this series and now have to find more by the author.

I am tickled pink with the very satisfying grand finale that Neighborhood Watch 10 provides for this awesome apocalyptic series! I’m also a bit sad to say farewell to entertaining characters, that have become some of my favorites, and a great storyline. Be kind to yourself and read this series (in order written, please) as soon as you can. I highly recommend it. Kindle Unlimited
