Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Tara Brady Irish Times Still, there's plenty of fun to be had from the fleet-footed zombies and random nods to Mad Max. Rated: 3/4 Mar 2, 2016 Full Review Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Jim Slotek Toronto Sun If it sounds like there isn't an original thought in The Scorch Trials' scripted head, you're right. But at least you won't be smacking yourself in the head trying to figure out what's going on. Rated: 3/5 Sep 24, 2015 Full Review Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Monica Castillo International Business Times Unlike the second Hunger Games movie, which largely felt like retread, the latest Maze Runner opens up its world and actually contextualizes the motive behind the bad guys. Rated: 3/5 Sep 20, 2015 Full Review Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Unlike other YA franchises, the basic emotional underpinnings remain vacant in The Maze Runner movies, and the action isn’t good enough to keep our attention. Instead, he wants to understand why something might happen and what the implications of it are. Jan 15, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Munkhchimeg T Must watch movie. Casts, storytelling, events are the best. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/17/24 Full Review Bahad j In my opinion, the movie uses very good camera and audio visual equipment and the crew members and the filmmakers have played their roles very well. I really liked it. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/17/24 Full Review Rihanna R Enjoyed the other maze runners, didn't like this so much. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/16/24 Full Review Desk T "The Scorch Trials" expands the world in fascinating ways. The transition from the maze to the desolate Scorch is jarring, but the new challenges keep the story fresh and exciting. The film's rapid pace sometimes felt overwhelming, but the constant action and suspense kept me on edge. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/10/24 Full Review Test T I watched this on DVD recently. I rated the original Maze Runner film highly, so I was hoping this would be similar. Sadly, it's not! The original had a visually interesting environment and an intriguing mysterious quality that captured my attention. This film has none of that, instead squandering it's runtime on uninteresting and poorly illuminated environments and mind numbing chaotic action/scare sequences of negligible appeal. Some of the cast are brought forward from the first film, but with a poor story, barren locations and sparse dialogue they can do little to rescue the project from failure. I often wonder why films like this get made, when it is obviously inferior, and very damaging to the good will generated by the first film. I did not enjoy this movie at all and can't recommend it. I thought it was really poor, and just wanted it to end quickly, so I fast forwarded through most of the second half. Sadly, it's not over yet as the film lays foundations for yet another installment. I just can't take any more if this and I'm out! Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/26/24 Full Review josh b Complete change in film don't know if much would enjoy.
